PETRACO VALLEY OIL & REFINING Company was formed in 1974, with its well experienced staff in the Oil Industry including refining, processing, marketing, principal net purchasers , production, transportation and construction. Petraco Valley Oil & Refining Company Inc.‘s staff of personnel have accumulated more than seventy-five years of experience in the Petroleum Industry and construction.

Our first Refinery was located at the Port of Brownsville, Texas. This initial unit refined Algerian Condensate blended with a a variety of Mexican and South Texas crude oils. During the years of 1978/1988 we began a transaction that would allow the expansion of PETRACO VALLEY OIL & REFINING capability in the U.S Gulf Coast to grow from 25,000 barrels per day of petroleum refining to over 100,000 barrels per day capability.

​The crude supply and profit stream that would support the acquisition was a long term contact with Sonangol, the National Oil Company of Angola. We were stopped to due a conflict of Politics with the U.S. Government and the Angolan Government. Trading continued with markets opening in Russia, Poland, China, Republic of Benin, Venezuela and Mexico. ​Our refineries, owned / managed / or through processing arrangements, produce through Atmospheric Crude Distillation, Fluid Catalytic Reforming, Catalytic Cracking and Vacuum Distillation, Produce Liquid Petroleum Gas, Light Straight Run Naptha, Heavy Naptha, Gasoline, Jet Fuel Grade Kerosene, Diesel Fuel, Light Vacuum Gas Oil, Heavy Vacuum Gas Oil and Residual Fuel Oil.
